Can you tell that my attention is divided and I'm not really in the mood for writing...alright I don't want this to be a waste of your time reading so I'll explain more thoroughly....
So I arrived in Erie on Friday night, we didn't do much because we arrived late, but I already knew that this was going to be an interesting trip. This was my first time in Erie since I've been on my new diet. Anything that eliminates over half the food that most people eat makes for an interesting trip. I brought some things that I can eat up to my grandparents...you know stuff like cereal, and crackers, and some cookies(and of course these items have all of the organic and non-wheat stuff that i can actually eat) for Tim's party the next day.
Saturday, Tim's party day came and we got up, showered and all that, and then headed to the pavillion, which was very nice, we weren't sure what to expect but it was very very nice. We arrived a bit early so we helped set out food, and then looked at pictures of Tim. It was nice seeing all of the pics. I wish I could put the one on here...but I don't have it, its a picture of Tim and i hugging with big smiles on our faces, and we are all dressed up because it was taken at my mothers wedding. It was a cute picture. There were also the awards Tim has won...which has made me decide I need to win more stuff before I graduate...cause I have nothing adn he has like 20million things...it has made me wonder if that is just Tim or if everyone is like that. Another cute thing that was there was a box that was shaped like a graduation cap, it was red with a gold tassel (red and gold are girard colors...or maybe its red and yellow...whatever). I thought it was very fun to flip the tassel to the side that would mean tim has not graduated. Stephanie (my sister), Sarah (my cousin) and Meghan(Tim's gf) also joined in on this fun. Of course Tim would change it back whenever he realized, but it normally took a while for him to notice.
When people started to arrive Tim found it necessary to act host (which really probably was nice) but that sorta left Meghan by herself...well her family was there...but she wasn't talking to anyone.
And then there was me, I was sitting there very bored, not talking to anyone...because well, everyone was in conversations already. So my mom suggestion talking to Meghan, and I am so glad I did, and I think she is glad too. We talked for pretty much the entire party. We both have that very talkative personality, all we neede was for someone to start talking and we were off, talking almost non-stop. At one point we decided to take a walk to let some of her brothers energy out I think...so we were walking and still talking, discussing having boyfriends and other girl stuff lol.
We were walking on a trail, at first I was watching my feet but after a while I got used to walking on the trail and I stopped looking at the ground, plus we were deep in conversation. However, our conversation was halted when i half gasped/half screamed. Meghan looked over and asked what happened and I looked down and said that something had gone over my foot. Steph spotted the snake slithering into the bushes I saw the tail but thats about it, before it was in the bushes. So a snake slithered over my foot...Meghan and I decided it was a good thing we didn't see it when it was by us because she would have screamed, and I would have screamed louder than I did already. So the rest of the party was nice, talked to Meghan more, and some other people, after the party I went back to Tim's he opened his presents and cards and then we took Meghan home, and then they took me home...home meaning my grandparents house. I went onto the computer when I got there...I did that every night. I was always the last to bed, it was kinda fun.
Then the next day was Sunday. We went to church in the morning which was nice, then we all went to my great-grandmothers house for a fish-fry. This was only a bit interesting, my fish had to be fried without being breaded, it was very good I liked it a lot, so it wasn't too hard to eat at that meal. It was nice seeing the family that was there, we went way back in time and played Ms. Pac-Man...very fun game. Leah went to camp today, my parents took her to WLD Ranch, its a Christian camp, she was going until tuesday.
On Monday I saw The Devil wears Prada, with my mother and aunts and grandmother. That was a very cute movie, I highly recommend it. We went to the grocery store after the movie to buy stuff that I would be able to eat. That night the family ordered pizza and breadsticks....and I had steak...now to be fair it was good, but at this point of my diet I would soooo rather have pizza. :-( So yeah, but still it was nice seeing people and all that.
Then it was Tuesday, today we had chicken for lunch, (mine was grilled specially with a different marinade) and then we packed up our stuff and went to pick up Leah from camp. Leah had a great time at camp, she loved it, although she didnt brush her hair or teeth the entire time, maybe thats a camp thing...or a little kid at camp thing anyways.
Tuesday night was great we went to see fireworks for Independence day and I met Chris there. Chris and I hadn't seen each other for a little over 2 weeks and we hardly talked to each other while he was in Alaska and I was then in Erie, so it was nice to see him. :-)
