Independence Day

Happy Independence Day. Notice I did not say 'Happy 4th of July' I said Happy Independence Day.
The 4th of July seems to have become less of a day to celebrate our freedom and independence and more of a day for picnic's and fireworks. I don't think that is right. Fireworks and picnics are great ways to celebrate as long as everyone remembers what we are celebrating. So next time that it just happens to be the 4th of July remember to wish everyone a Happy Independence Day.

And when you think about it how often do you say 'Happy 25th of December' or 'Happy 2nd of February' so why should we say 'Happy 4th of July'.

Happy Independence Day Everyone!

Luv ya all!

I did a little different type of celebration. It involved two people, and a whole bunch of kissing <3333

and it was a lot more fun than fireworks and picnics.

and we were definitely not celebrating the birth of america.

they played the best song on the radio-God Bless the USA. It's my favorite. I also like the one they sing in that one disney Irish movie. haha.

Indeed. Happy belated Independence Day.

Although, when you step back and take a look at the United States (notice I didn't say "America"), they don't look a day over 230.

Actually, by now, they are two days over. Oh, well.
