Auditions

I'm thinking about auditioning for the fall musical that is being put on by a group at my school. All that I have to do for the audition is sing a song from a musical. The only preoblem is I have no clue which one I should chose. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks a bunch!

Luv ya all!

You should do the theme from "Beauty and the Beast." If I remember right, you're a mezzosoprano. That would be good for your range.

First of off...DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT.

Secondly...Beauty and the Beast would be a good idea, cause that might just maybe probably will be our spring musical (you didn't hear it from me though!)

Yes I am serious. Liz said Mr. K told Dan Harrold, and I got it from my own sources (which, trust me, do not come from Dan Harrold or Mr. K). However, there has been no official announcement that I heard.

Addition...Another one of my sources has confirmed it. It's looking pretty good.

Well, then. I suppose you have no choice... Of course, there's always the possibility (now that "Beauty and the Beast" looks like it'll happen) that everyone else will choose that, too.

In that case, I would recommend "Circle of Life" from "The Lion King." But do whatever you want. It's up to you.
