Oh My Gosh, There is a Squirrel in my House!

No lie, completely 100% truthful, there is a squirrel in my house. ( I posted that as a myspace bulletin title, and I am wondering how many people will not read it because they don't think it is real.) So would you like to know how this came to be?

Well tonight was the Open House for the high school. I had signed up to work at the bake sale for foreign language club and to help with yearbook staff, so I needed to be there the whole time, since Mark (my step dad) is in some other state working right now my little sisters had to come so my mother could meet my teachers. The bake sale went wonderfully, we sold so much, Andrea is really good at doing the math in her head quickly for giving change and I'm really good at getting people to come over and look at our stuff, and we both are very good at explaining why people should buy our stuff, especially the cookbooks we were selling, they are international recipes and they have lots of cool things like measurement conversions, and microwave tips, and nutritional information, and we are selling them for $2.00, and Andrea and I are taking orders!

But that isn't the point, I left about 15 minutes early from the sale and we went home, Leah went up to bed, and Stephanie went to go take a shower and I was talking to my mom about my teachers, then I came in to go on the computer and I saw a squirrel running across the room, I screamed so loudly, it went out of the room so we lost track of it. We were all so freaked out so my mom went next door to ask the neighbor what to do, and then we called the police who came to look for it. The police officer was very cute I must say (haha) but he was here for a while, and he didn't find it, so we have no clue where it is, but we don't know how it got in, and we don't think it is out of the house...

So when I wake up tomorrow to see a squirrel in the house I will wake everyone up with a loud, shrill, piercing, scream! Hopefully it will get out and not come back!

Wow. That's just amazingly weird. But it happens. I know we found an exotic bird in our willow tree one night... it spent the night, and around 11:00 the next morning flew elsewhere in town.

Apparently, it got into a swimming pool about half a mile away, where someone found it, rescued it, and called it into the news. It aired at 22:00, and by 23:00 he was on his way home.
