I got on the bus and waited in anticipation as we neared our destination. Finally we arrived at school and I couldn't help but show my excitement. I was grinning ear-to-ear as I walked into building two. The building that holds my homeroom. I paused in awe. This was my last first day of highschool.
The rest of my day was awesome. I have friends in all my classes and they seem like they will be really fun. I'm fairly well organized and i've finished all my homework so far. None of the homework is due until Thursday or Friday so I feel like i'm really getting ahead of things and I would like it to stay that way.
I'll probably tell more about my classes later but right now I think I should head to bed and get a good nights rest...or at least try to before I have to wake up.
(Something really exciting I realized today is that now that I've finished my AP English homework I can finish reading the books I've wanted to read and haven't had time to...like Pride and Prejudice for example!)
Wish me luck through the rest of school. I will probably need it.

awww i'm glad your first day went well....i always liked the first day too because i really like school supplies and getting to use them when they're all brand new and pretty!
anyway, luck and prayers for the rest of your year, senior!
What a great feeling to start your last year of High School!! I know you will do well. I found that the last year of HS went really well once I had my plans for college nailed down. Grandma and Grandpa would probably say that I coasted after that, but I just remember having lots of fun!
So, do well, and most importantly - Have FUN!
Ah, I remember the first week of my senior year in high school.
I also remember doing an immensely frustrating term paper on Pride and Prejudice. Yick.
All the myraid college decisions can be stressful at best, but once you make them, you don't really care about anything else.
Which can be a very good feeling; you'll always have your memories... especially if you highly document your experiences and then blatantly advertise them on your cousin's bl— I mean, read over them later.
Happy senior year!
;)
