Calculators

I was a little nervous what I heard that there were going to be some sections on the PSAT that were non-calculator sections. I'm alright at math, but I am certainly a lot faster and better with a calculator. So when I was taking the test I thought it was comical that all of the math sections allowed the use of a calculator. Normally that wouldn't be funny, lucky maybe, but not funny. The part that was funny was that at the top of every English section there was a No Calculator Icon. Before beginning every english section the teacher told us to put our calculators on the floor.

Now, honestly, if you at any point during the english section wished that you could use your calculator to answer the question you shouldn't be taking this test, because it is obviously too high level for you.

Geez, NO ONE EVER WOULD NEED A CALCULATOR ON THE ENGLISH SECTION, gosh. Haha!

You would if you were going to cheat by bringing definitions in to the testing room, hidden as a program. They're smart, those PSATers...
